Rico Mossesgeld is a Copywriting Bunny

The Copywriting Bunny

Yep, that's me

I’m Rico Mossesgeld, a writer based in the Philippines who works for Best of Media. I contribute to—and edit articles for— Tom’s Guide, and help out with Tom’s Hardware from time to time. On the side, I write for Techie, The Philippine Star’s Unblogged, and Technograph (a personal project). Previous employers include b5media and a variety of print publications.

My copy once appeared on the website of the Philippine president. The site still featured the old chief executive, even after the new one was sworn in. As a joke/suggestion, I wrote some placeholder prose for the incoming administration to use as they updated the site.

Presidential Copy Paste

True Story

Two days later, my text was representing the 15th president of the Republic of the Philippines. I never received credit for my contribution, but you can say my own government vouched for my writing—declaring it worthy of exposure to an entire country.

I’ve cranked out words like bunnies procreating since early 2006, long crossing the 10,000-hour threshold required for proficiency. My former job with the internet marketing arm of US Auto Parts has left me experienced with search engine optimization and online reputation management.

This means I know how to write for an online audience, bashing their short attention spans to help companies achieve their goals. It’s what I’ve been doing since I started pulling paychecks. So if you’re looking for a writer or editor for your website, click here to contact me →
